Getz Healthcare Philippines proudly announces the successful launch of Baxter’s Coseal Surgical Sealant and Floseal Hemostatic Matrix among the thoracic and cardiovascular surgical community in the Philippines. The event, titled “Contemporary Surgical Sealants and Their Applications in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery,” was held on July 12, 2025, at B Hotel, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Organized in partnership with the Philippine Association of Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons Inc. (PATACSI) and Baxter Healthcare, the hybrid event gathered over 100 participants, with approximately 70 attending in person and 30 joining online.

The program featured esteemed speakers from the field:

• Dr. Pocholo Bernardo, Consultant, UP-Philippine General Hospital

• Dr. Racel Querol, President, PATACSI

• Dr. Leo Rico, Aortic Surgeon

• Dr. Edgar Tuazon, Chief, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Division, Philippine Heart Center

• Dr. Raghavendra Mayya, Medical Affairs Director, Baxter

The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Robin Flores, Vice President of PATACSI.
